Privacy notice.

How we handle information when you visit azunified.net or contact us for technology services.

Who controls your data

AZ Unified is an independent technology services business operated by a sole trader established in Ireland.

The operator of AZ Unified is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. This notice covers azunified.net, website enquiries and incoming support email. For privacy questions and requests, contact us at:

support@azunified.net

Website enquiries

The form requires your name, email address, service or request type, message and acknowledgement that you have read this notice. Phone number and company are optional. We also record the language, submission and acknowledgement times, enquiry status, and technical identifiers used to prevent duplicate submissions.

We receive this information directly from you. It is saved in our enquiry database and made available to the owner through a protected administration area. The current form does not store your IP address, browser User-Agent or country in the enquiry record. Cloudflare separately processes technical request information to deliver and protect the service.

You are not legally required to contact us. We need the required fields to accept the form and respond meaningfully; without them, the form cannot be submitted. Please include only information relevant to your request, and do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Incoming email and support records

Messages sent to support@azunified.net are received through Cloudflare Email Routing and recorded in our support database. We store the sender name and address, recipient, reply-to address, subject, message text, receipt time, message size, Message-ID and references used to organise replies into conversations and detect duplicates. Information about another person may be included if a sender puts it in a message. Replies sent by the owner from Admin, including recipient, subject, reply text, creation and sending times, delivery status and provider reference, are stored in D1 as part of the enquiry and support communication history.

Original attachment files are not saved in our support records. We retain attachment metadata, such as filename, file type and size. Email HTML may be converted to readable text, but the original HTML and raw email are not stored in that database. Please put essential details in the message text rather than relying on an attachment.

Why we use information and our legal bases

When you ask us to take steps towards a service contract with you, or information is necessary to provide an agreed service to you, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: requested pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract.

For general enquiries, business contacts acting for an organisation, managing support records and keeping communications consistent, we rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: answering requests and running a reliable technology services business. We use the same basis for proportionate security, abuse prevention, duplicate detection and limited website performance measurement. These interests must not override your rights and freedoms.

The form checkbox records that you have read this notice. It is not blanket consent for every use of your information, and it does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not use these enquiry and support records for advertising or for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Service providers and access to records

Cloudflare provides website delivery and security, Workers for request processing, D1 database storage and Email Routing for incoming support mail. Cloudflare Access protects the owner-only administration area. Cloudflare and its relevant service providers process data to provide these services; the owner uses the records to handle your enquiry or support request.

New website enquiries generate an automatic notification in the owner's approved Telegram group. Telegram processes the enquiry ID, name, service or request type, language, creation time, a message preview of up to 160 characters and an Admin link for this operational alert. The email and phone fields are not included, but information you put in the message preview is included. This channel is used to notify the owner, not to communicate with you.

Only when the owner explicitly sends a reply from Admin, Resend processes the email address supplied with your enquiry, the reply subject and message text to deliver that response. Replies use support@azunified.net as the reply-to address. We do not use Resend to send automatic owner alerts to that address; it remains our inbound support address through Cloudflare Email Routing.

We restrict access to support and enquiry records and use encrypted HTTPS connections for the website and administration area. Admin authentication involves separate identity and session information. Ordinary visitors do not need an Admin account. No security measure can guarantee that every risk is eliminated.

International processing

Cloudflare operates internationally, so information may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Its published Data Processing Addendum provides for EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards for relevant restricted transfers. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

Telegram and Resend also process information internationally. Telegram's privacy policy describes sharing within its group and contractual safeguards for those transfers. Resend's published Data Processing Addendum describes processing outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, and Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers.

How long we keep information

We generally retain enquiry and support records, including customer reply history, for up to 12 calendar months from the creation of the record. Records connected to an ongoing engagement or subject to a retention hold may be kept longer where necessary for that ongoing work. Retention is reviewed rather than guaranteed by automatic deletion on an exact date; automatic scheduled cleanup is not currently active.

Browser storage, cookies and analytics

With your permission through Cookie preferences, the site remembers your language for up to 180 days. Refusing or withdrawing removes the saved language; language links still work. A separate browser-storage record remembers your cookie choice for 180 days. When you submit the form, a random request identifier in session storage prevents duplicate enquiries; it contains no name, email address or message. It is cleared after successful acceptance or an idempotency conflict, or at the end of the tab session (browser session restoration can retain it). Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers on the public site. Cloudflare security features may require technical cookies when they are invoked. Authentication cookies for Cloudflare Access belong to the protected Admin login, not ordinary public-page navigation. You can manage browser storage in your browser settings; disabling it may affect remembered preferences.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled with the setting that excludes EU visitor data. It measures page views and loading performance where that setting permits collection. Cloudflare documents this analytics service as using no cookies or persistent browser storage for analytics and no individual fingerprinting. It is not behavioural advertising.

Your rights and privacy requests

Depending on the circumstances and the applicable GDPR conditions, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. These rights are not absolute; we will explain any applicable limitation.

Send a privacy request to support@azunified.net and describe what you need. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. Please do not send identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.

Complaints

You can raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission, or with a competent supervisory authority in the country where you live or work. Contacting us first may help resolve an issue, but does not remove your right to complain.
